Shaw’s guest experience uses the RogersOpen network, available at over 100,000 locations across Western Canada.

Are there limitations to Shaw’s guest experience for Rogers WiFi Hotspots?
Yes. Guests on the RogersOpen network will be able to use up to 500MB of data for seven days, with the ability to register again after those seven days.
Shaw Internet customers have no limit to their data usage and only need to register once.
Will devices connect automatically on Shaw’s guest experience for Rogers WiFi Hotspots?
Once a device is registered for the guest experience, it will automatically connect at any of the over 100,000 locations across Western Canada for seven days of access.
- Device registration requires confirmation via email address or mobile phone number.
How many phones and devices can I connect to Shaw’s guest experience?
Guests can connect one device per email address or mobile phone number at this time.
What happens if I have reached my 500MB data limit before the end of the seven days?
You will need to wait to register again once the seven days have passed.

Can I register again after the seven days are over?
Absolutely, guests can register again every seven days and receive 500MB of data to use.
Why is my Rogers WiFi Hotspots speed slow?
Shaw Internet customers get access to lightning-fast Rogers WiFi Hotspot. Speeds can vary for everyone due to many different factors including, but not limited to:
- How many people are connected to the same hotspot.
- Distance from hotspot.
My device continues to display the login portal while I’m waiting for the remaining days of my seven-day registration to pass, what can I do?
If you would like to stop auto-connecting while waiting for your seven days to pass, follow the steps below (steps may vary by device):
1. Open Settings.
2. Select Wi-Fi.
3. Select RogersOpen.
4. Turn off Auto reconnect or Auto-join.
5. Toggle WiFi Off.
6. Toggle WiFi On.
Your device will now no longer re-connect. Once your seven days have passed simply follow the same steps and re-enable Auto reconnect or Auto-join.
Note: Some devices may only show the option to Forget the network. If you choose this, you may permanently remove access to Rogers WiFi Hotspots.
