Follow these steps, if you cannot log in to your email address because you have forgotten your password, or you simply want to change your email or Webmail password for security reasons.


  1. Sign into My Shaw
  2. Click My Services > Internet from the menu at the top and scroll down to the Email Accounts section
  3. Click Edit next to the email account
  4. Enter your new password in the provided field
    • Your password must contain an uppercase character, a lowercase character, have a number, and be between 8 to 64 characters



  1. Click Update to save your new email password.

Note: Your email login and password is different than your My Shaw ID login and password (although you can make them the same). How to change your My Shaw ID password

After changing your password, be sure to use this new password however you access your email account, whether through webmail, your mobile device, or your desktop mail program.
