If you forgot your email password, or you just want to change it for security reasons, you can set a new password using the My Shaw website or the My Shaw app.


How to change your Shaw email/Webmail password

Your new password must be 8 to 64 characters and contain at least one uppercase character, one lowercase character, and one number. 

On the My Shaw mobile app:

  1. Once you've opened the My Shaw app on your mobile device you'll need to navigate to the right menu.
  • On an Apple device, tap the three dots in the bottom right corner.
  • On an Android device, tap the three lines in the top left corner.
  1. Tap Shaw Email Accounts.
  2. Tap Create Email Address.
  3. Tap the email address you want to update.
  4. Tap Change Password.
  5. Enter a new password.
  6. Enter the password again to confirm it.
  7. Click Save.


On the My Shaw website:

My Shaw Internet Menu

  1. Visit https://my.shaw.ca
  2. Sign into My Shaw.
  3. Mouse over to My Services, at the top of the page, and click Internet.
  4. Scroll down to Email Accounts and click Edit next to your @shaw.ca address.
  5. Enter a new password in the New email password text box.
  6. Click Update.
