I got home after the billing department was closed. I was disconnected. I paid my bill and after 2 hrs the tech support said they couldn’t help me. They can’t re start my services the billing department had to.

@TLC05 -- it is interesting that you expect every Shaw employee, including their CEO, to be cross-trained on all their systems.

Bank tellers are bank tellers. The bank's Loan Officers do loans. The bank's Investment Advisors have certification to recommend investments. The bank's I.T. staff manage their in-branch big-screens that promote their products. 

It's all about "specialization" within any large company. Not every employee can be trained for everything.
