Payment withdrawl date

I have been a Shaw customer for years. I have always been in the cycle they create your bill and then on your bill date its withdrawn from your account or due. Now Rogers has gone and flipped the whole thing on their head with only giving us 14 days. Then this late fee daily. Then I was reading that rogers wrote that with the approach of daily interest and other fees it will deter people from being late. Boy Rogers is a real power hungry and sounds as if they are trying to show someone the heavy handed way like a parent when Rogers, there is a thing called life that happens and you are trying to teach us a lesson because life happened and their is an issue. I do not understand what you are trying to do to your customers. I noticed when rogers took over that every rep is in the profit mode only and is only thing they think about. No longer human with feelings. This is just totally wrong that you would treat people this way. I have been with shaw for years and you change it all up and now because I am not used to your so called power hungry payment schedule and you just make people do it when I dont flip a switch. So now you say my payment is late. It was out on the 5th the bill so I figured that I had till the 5th and yes it would be paid. I cannot beleive the way you are treating your customers. Being treated so badly and so roughly with your daily late fee interest ect.... I cant help but think you are pushing the cusomter away and when their contract is up they are gonna find someone else. Where in the heck is your feelings your human side. That is just cruel. It was an honest mistake and I am being treated like a peice of dirt. Wow I cant believe how shaw has become so.......

@Bambi202324 -- yes, Rogers has changed its payment policy. The details are on your monthly invoice.

In the past, they would auto-debit on the 30th day after they created the invoice. You are correct -- they now auto-debit on the 14th day after they created the invoice.

If you cancel the auto-payment, then, like most credit-card issuers, you must make payment by the 21st day. Payment can be done through the My Shaw Portal or at your bank/credit-union.  If you do the latter, I suggest that you pay on the 19th day, to ensure that Rogers will receive your payment by the 21st day.

Yes, Rogers will get your money earlier than they did under their old policy.  Some call this a cash-grab.

P.S. Late fees are not "new".
