Shaw sent my final bill to the wrong address and I did not realize I had an outstanding balance (equipment was also shipped back and I verified it was received with a support analyst). GS Contact Center contacted me and advised that they had placed my account in collections. The same day I received the call I paid the bill, directly to Shaw as advised, and was advised during that call that it would not affect my credit score. Two months later it showed up on my credit report and immediately took my credit score from 859 to 773 … for a $214.00 bill I paid immediately after I found out about it. I have a couple homes and have been using Shaw on and off for 20+ years. I am so angry and disappointed with Shaw. I have contacted Shaw support 6-7 times and at least 3 of those times the call ended with them promising to get the item removed from my credit report however it is still there … one person I spoke to even tried to sell me on Shaw Mobile … perhaps if you take of the bogus entry off my credit report. Can safely say I have never been this disappointed in a company before … if someone with the Shaw organization can address this you may get my business back again. Until then I will continue to advise colleagues and friends about my experience and to stay clear.

i advise you contact the credit companies transunion and fix the wrong credit file. and wouln't stay clear from as they are awful and soon they be like rogers as they bought out shaw. stay clear JoelB and your friends too. good luck on your file. i for one i will be a customer of them again, as i read lots of bad reviews.
