I subscribed the 600 mbps and I am getting ~650mbps at the upstair room, which is about the same speed as the downstair speed. The wireless ( 5GHZ) is about 350 mbps. 2.4 GHZ is about 120 mbps. Those are based on shaw/telus/ookla speed test.
Which MOCA adapter are you using? I tried this with my new Blue Curve gateway but didn't get any connection with the ActionTec 2.5 adapter.
@jnak00 I have never tried this but did you turn on Moca in the BlueCurve settings?
Yes, I did. I was trying to reply to @boons comment above, where they say they successfully connected a MOCA adapter and are getting the full 600 mbps that way.
Hopefully he replies, I want to try this as well.
I used the GoCoax Moca Adaptor 2.5.Got it from Amazon.ca for $99.00 plus $10.00 shipping.
You should turn on the Blue Curve Gateway Moca in the setting and also check the white light just above the cable connection at the back of the Gateway. This light must be on to confirm the Moca is turned on.
I have some pictures but I don't seem to be able to upload them
Do you know if the actiontec 2.5 works as well? That one is on amazon prime so if it doesn't work at least I don't have to send it back to gocoax in the states....also can you kindly confirm which bluecurve modem you have? I have technicolor xb6
Did the actiontec work?
My Blue Curve Gateway is Technicolor CGM4140COM. I am not sure if this is the same as xb6. I also used Actiontec WCB3000N which is MOCA 1.1 but it works perfectly though a bit slower. This is an extender and not a router but with MOCA built-in.
I cannot find anywhere to "turn Moca on". Is this in the https://internet.shaw.ca/connect panel somewhere?
I looked in advanced settings, can't see anything. Help please!!
