Agree.  I just received BlueCurve yesterday and am similarly disappointed.  Please add the ability into the router firmware.

That's true, but: (a) the previous Hitron router had this ability out of the box, so this is a definite step backwards; and (b) my recollection is that the hitron guest access did NOT include my internal network -- just access to the internet -- so your solution is subtly different and possibly less appealing.

Not a good solution as this limits speed or range depending on which one you connect to.  Better to let the device and router work out the best frequency to use at any given moment.  Guest access is a basic feature, first time I've ever seen a router without it.

Best solution I can come up with is to buy a second router from another company and disable the wifi on the BlueCurve router.  Let's be honest, Shaw is an internet provider, they clearly don't know how to make routers so just don't use it if you need more than the most basic of features.
