Performance with my new XB7 hasn’t changed too much, which the exception of better reception. My gear has its limits.
Device download speeds over wifi:
iMac (2013 i7 - 16 Gb ram) : 610Mbps
iPad Pro 10.5in 256Gb: 450Mbps
iPhone SE (series 2) 550Mbps
Upload remains consistent @ 100Mbps(ish)
Overall, home network very stable. All devices connected. Wireless tv’s and speakers performing very well.
