@lou202020 -- several times during COVID, I have had Telus sales-persons come to my front door, with an offer if I switch everything from Shaw to Telus, namely $20/month in "Telus credit" for each remaining month on my Shaw two-year Value Plan.

That $20/month matches the monthly cancellation fee that Shaw charges.  

Plus, as a "new" customer of Telus, I would get "promotional" rates for the first 12 months -- less than what I pay to Shaw.

I do not know if Telus is still making that offer.  Negotiate hard with Telus, to see if you can get the offer.

You signed a contract. I doubt that taking them to court will be of any benefit to you.

Also, logon to the My Shaw Portal, to view all the "transactions" on your account, over the last 24 months, to see what/when Shaw has been charging you.

@lou202020 they can't chsnge or Ober charge you during the contract. Breach of contract.  Hope you get them fix their billing or face conquences.   Have a blessed day/night
