Learn how to open the Netflix App for Rogers Xfinity TV and Rogers Streaming. Netflix can be accessed a few different ways including voice commands, the apps menu, and through search results or recommendations.
Note: A Shaw Internet subscription is required to use apps on Rogers Xfinity TV (formerly Ignite TV) or Rogers Streaming (formerly Ignite Stream).
Access Netflix with your voice remote
To open Netflix with your Rogers Xfinity TV voice remote, say any of the following:
- "Netflix"
- "Watch Netflix"
- "Show me Netflix"
- "Launch Netflix"
- "Open Netflix"
- "Netflix App"
Access Netflix from the Apps menu
To open Netflix from the Rogers Xfinity TV Apps menu:
- Press the Shaw button on your Rogers Xfinity TV remote
- Select Apps
- Select Netflix from the Entertainment section
With Rogers Streaming, open Netflix from the Apps section on the home screen.
Access Netflix using Search and Recommendations
In the Rogers Xfinity TV interface, Netflix content is fully integrated into voice search and recommendations. Choosing to watch a Netflix title will automatically open the Netflix App and play your content.
