Learn how to use the Stocks app that comes with your Rogers Xfinity TV guide. View recent stock quotes, related new stories and keep track of your favourite stocks right from your TV.

Note: A Shaw or Rogers Internet subscription is required to use apps on Rogers Xfinity TV (formerly BlueCurve TV).

How to use the Rogers Xfinity TV Stocks app

With Rogers Xfinity TV you can view the latest stock quotes, related news stories and follow your favourite stocks with minute-to-minute updates all from the Rogers Xfinity TV guide. To access and use the Stocks app, follow these steps:

  1. Press the Shaw button on your remote control. 
  2. Use the right arrow or left arrow keys to navigate to Apps and press OK134416_bluesky-tv-menu-apps

     

  3. Use the arrow buttons, highlight Stocks and press OK132317_menu_settings_applications_stocks

     

  4. View the default list of Your Stocks and stocks that are trending under Hot Stocks by using the right and left arrow buttons to toggle. 132318_menu_settings_applications_stocks%20your-stocks

  8. Press Last to return to your list of stocks, press Exit once to return to the Apps menu, or press Exit twice to return to standard TV viewing.

How to add a stock to the Stocks app

With Rogers Xfinity TV, you can customize your Stocks app experience by adding your preferred stocks to the Stocks app. Follow your favourite stocks with minute-to-minute updates and news. To add stocks to your app:

  1. Press the Shaw button on your remote control.
  2. Use the right arrow or left arrow keys to navigate to Apps and press OK134416_bluesky-tv-menu-apps

  7. Press Exit twice to return to standard TV viewing, press Exit once to return to the Apps menu, or press Last to return to your list of stocks.

 

How to remove a stock to the Stocks app

Here are details on how to customize your Stocks list by removing stocks that you no longer want to view from the Rogers Xfinity TV Stocks app.

  1. Press the Shaw button on your remote control.

  7. The selected stock will now be removed from Your Stocks list.
  8. Press Exit twice to return to standard TV viewing, press Exit once to return to the Apps menu, or press Last to return to your list of stocks.
