As I mentioned, I queried by phone why Shaw - a communications company (!) - could not send me an e-mail or phone me. The Techie said Shaw employees are explicitly "banned from contacting Customers by phone or e-mail" . If that is the way the Comms World apparently functions - there is little hope.
I did not realise that this Forum is not for assistance/clarification of Rogers/Shaw mysterious ways. . . .
In future, I will restrict my information requests to Rogers/Shaw - not this Forum.
