fast forward skipping doesn't work

@christinand you should still be able to skip during fast forward. Do you see any error messages when trying to do this?

No i see no error messages. It just fast forwards instead of skips.

@christinand ah. Which remote do you have from our list here and which button are you pressing to try and skip?

I have the champion remote. The button I am pressing is beside the stop button.

@christinand ah, that is indeed the skip button. It is very odd it is not working properly. Can you try a quick power reset on your TV box by unplugging it for one minute? Also, pull out the batteries for the remote. Once the TV box boots up, put the batteries back into the remote and see if the function works again.

No unfortunately that still doesn't work. Should i get a new remote?

@christinand sounds like a faulty remote. Yes, please bring it to your local Shaw retailer to swap for a new one.
