Global TV App won’t authenticate

When using the Global tv app and trying to activate it it allows me to enter the authentication code and select Shaw as the provider which then shows I have  access to all the add ons that Global offer through the app but when I click ok it tells me I do not have access . 
should point out it works fine on my iPhone just not the Global app on my Samsung smart TV not the Amazon fire stick. I have added two photos 

spoke to global said it’s a Shaw/rogers issue talked to them and they say it’s a global issue and I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled.

This forum is NOT a path to Shaw/Rogers Support [1-888-472-2222].

So, if the volunteers are unable to resolve your issue (which is probable), please contact Support.

@Walburda  I just tested here and the exact thing happens to me. I would bet that it is a global issue,  because the iPhone app works fine.
