The could amp the signal at the point where it enters the house. Wireless would certainly fix that problem. Let us know how it goes.
To add an amplifier the Shaw tech will need access to inside the house. They have to put a power brick in a wall plug then run the power over the coaxial back to the amplifier which will be nestled in the device box.
