Recording Has Bad Behaviour

Hi All:

Recorded a ball game the other day from Vancouver area Ch 131 CJCHD.  Playback is really bad.

Other recent recordings behave normally.

We have two Shaw/Rogers boxes connected to an XB-7. I have rebooted them all.

Box #1:  XG1v4-A Playback crashes repeatably

Using "Forward 20 minutes" verbal command

Using FF button at variable intervals of 15-20 minutes

Ordinary playback after 30 or so minutes

Box #2:  XiD-P

Recording length shows 29 minutes (should be 3 hrs+)

Plays normally

Hi rstra:

It does seem to be a one-off bad recording.

I have no idea about the status of the XG1.

Rogers probably hasn’t retired those boxes in your town yet.
