My Sony Bravia tv is set to have audio through the HDMI arc output to a Sony sound bar. When I connect my stream to an HDMI input on the tv. I get a message saying the external audio system is not available and it automatically changes the audio settings to the crappy tv speakers. Why does my tv audio out setting change only when I plug in the stream? When i unplug the stream, the audio returns to the HDMI arc soundbar.
@Foster8 Strange. You could try change the audio settings in the streamer to see if that helps. All else fails, if you have optical out on the TV and optical in on your soundbar, you could use that for audio.
