@rstra - Time for Shaw to migrate all customers from SD.
Some of my friends who are not "big" watchers of TV still have a non-HD TV terminal, and a non-HD TV. I would cost Shaw a lot for them to replace those customers' TVs, and to provide a HD-terminal. It wasn't too long ago when Shaw made it MANDATORY for each Shaw customer to have a Shaw TV terminal.
How about dropping support for all 2.4 Ghz WiFi devices, given that 5 Ghz has been available for years?
Microsoft dropped support for most users of Windows 7, but it took them almost 5 years after Windows 10 was released.
Telus manages quite well. The number of people with non hd TVs is quite rare.
The difference between 2.4 and 5ghz has to do with range.
Not going to even talk about Windows.
Still waiting to hear from somebody from SHAW as to why Much Music HD is not part of the Total TV package for Gateway customers. I heard that it is part of the Total TV package for BlueCurve customers although I have not been able to confirm that as of yet.
