I have a 2 year agreement I am currently under with Shaw. Last month and this month the price for Crave increased. Previously it was $20.00 a month and now it is $22.00 a month. What is the point of a 2-year agreement if you can simply raise the price of a component?

@Rangell The price guarantee doesn’t apply to channel add-ons.
@Rangell -- it's all in the "fine print". Monthly fees for Shaw Internet & Shaw Total TV are "frozen" for the duration of the two-year Value Plan. But, other fees, such as Shaw Home Phone, are not frozen. Similarly, the fee for Crave is not frozen.

Thanks for the comments. I cancelled my Crave add on through Shaw and subscribed directly through Crave at a cheaper rate.
@Rangell I will do what I do with other services. I subscribe, watch the shows i am interested in, cancel and then wait for the new season to start before re-subscribing.
The Crave with ads option is good too…
