Today the Shaw / Rogers employee was an amazing patient home tech who solved a problem with/for me that multiple tech support calls could not. We were switching to the new streaming system and could not sync our Technicolor TV with the XR15 Voice remote.

The employee was Allen Yu, he was kind, detailed, and very helpful, saving our entertainment system and fine-tuning our internet wifi.

For all of those with similar devices Technicolor Tv's can sync to the Shaw, Rx15 Remote with an RCA Code, 12746. Six other tech support calls could not solve this ... just so happened he had programmed a remote to an RCA TV, and I have read that Technicolor used these codes too.

Allen Yu also taught my wife all of the remote features. He was respectful, and professional and saved my relationship with Shaw, we were considering canceling after about twenty years with Shaw. Allen should be recognix=zed for his client & Tech service.

@Impt4u , that's great to hear, I also had a great experience with customer support today with a person named Phong via the chat service.  Only took 3 mins to get speaking to a real person and solved my issue within 10 mins, regarding a voicemail issue with my home phone, was patient with me and very polite and seemed to know what the root of my problem was.

I have had the worst internet, I redid my plan and the charged me $35 extra for the ‘sports’ package which I canceled and now I don’t have ABC because it’s part of the sport package.  ARE YOU KIDDING ME???  They stole all my stations when I was told they had a better plan….LIES!!!

Then they send me new equipment that I needed to set up like do I work for th now??? Two hours to figure it out.  No discount of payment for working a Free technician for Shaw.  WHY AM I DOING THIER JOB???  I pay for a service not setting up boxes and cables for free.

Yet again I have to call because they are incompetent and liars.  I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years and I moved and it’s been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company!  Now… I have to call them YET AGAIN!!

Huh? Does your channel lineup include the all USA-based networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, FOX, CW, etc.) ?

I recommend that you contact Rogers/Shaw, at 1-888-472-2222 and ask for "billing", to review the channels in your TV package (Skinny TV? Total TV? Popular TV?), and maybe get a "refresh" (download of your channel line-up into your TV box).
