Yesterday! Shaw/Rogers Cable deactivated my tv service along with many others in my building. Others didn't get disconnected even though my building manager who pays for everyone to have basic tv ( building plan ) did not authorize Shaw/Rogers to discontinue anyone's basic tv/cable plan. When my management got their tech team to contact Shaw/Rogers about this Shaw/Rogers agreed they had made a huge mistake. So now for all of us cut off Shaw/Rogers has to reinstate all of us. I was paying extra for an Internet Plan and Tier 1 channels. My building management paid for my basic tv/cable. Why did I not get an email or letter explaining that If I wanted Tier 1 channels I had to upgrade. As a result a whole bunch of us have no basic cable. I hope they offer a good explanation to the management of my building. They owe each and every one of us an explanation and an apology. Every month I pay my bill on time. I am neuro diverse and want to harm myself because of this. I am sick to my stomach with tears flowing down my cheeks lying in bed with no tv. This isn't o'k ROGERS TOGETHER WITH SHAW!! I am confused and my brain is flip flopping. Help Me to get my tv back on!!
@ss19 , let us hope that Rogers/Shaw can get everything sorted out for you, but this is just a peer to peer discussion forum and not an actual path to Rogers/Shaw support or billing. There are just a couple of volunteers on here (not employees) who try to help out people if we can. Seems like you are going to have to contact Rogers/Shaw directly either thru the chat service (big red button) on side of screen or phone them at 1-888-472-2222 . Good luck fingers crossed for you.

If you live in Canada, note that Canada Post employees have been ON STRIKE for 3 weeks. So, NOBODY is getting any LETTER delivered.
Rogers/Shaw has been "retiring" their legacy TV boxes, and replacing them, for no additional cost, with XiOne or XI6 very-small TV boxes. So, depending on where you are living, it could have been your town/city that Rogers/Shaw has terminated service for those legacy boxes. Did your TV box get replaced? Did you get notice (on your monthly invoice) that they would be doing it?
