how can I find out how much time is left with my contract with shaw is?
because Telus if offering fiber optics and Shaw does not have fiber optics in my neighborhood in Ranch Park Coquitlam
@albertovalencia Look at your Shaw bill, it will tell you when the plan expires.
@albertovalencia -- Shaw uses a hybrid system: fiber-optic cable from its central office to distribute its network, and then uses coaxial-cable for "the last mile" to your home.
However, what level of speed do you wish to pay for?
Shaw:
Fibre+300 $99/month
Fibre+750 $109/month
Fibre+ Gig $125/month
Fibre+ Gig 1.5 $165/month

Note that "speed costs money". Although Telus' "Fiber To The Home" is theoretically faster than Shaw's "Fibre+" network, if you don't pay for the highest-possible speed, it really does not matter whether you choose Telus or Shaw.
The primary advantage of switching to Telus at the end of your Shaw two-year Value Plan is that you will get "new customer" discounted pricing from Telus, for the first 12 months. A secondary advantage is that Telus' "upload" speeds are much faster than Shaw's upload speed, if your personal Internet usage does a lot of uploading.
But, faster speeds on Telus apply only when the Telus network is "up". 😞

Hi @bsansom , look on page 2 of your bill where it says Current Monthly Services and right underneath it says Promotions. In that section you will find your 2 year value discount promotions and the date that they expire, that is your date for ending the 2 year contract. Hope that was the answer you were looking for.
It does not say promotions on page 2 of my bill under Current Monthly Services. This was no help at all
@Peachfish421 If your invoice doesn’t show promotions, then you likely don’t have any. Call or chat in to Rogers.
@Peachfish421 , if you don't have any promotions on your bill then how can you be on a 2 year contract. If your not on a 2 year contract then you have no need to look up when your service contract ends, you don't have one. Was there something else that you are trying to look up? Could you be more specific maybe?
