My friend can't receive my land line calls

When my friend calls my Shaw land line, she receives a message: "Sorry, your call cannot be completed from the restricted access phone you are using."

She is on a Telus land line. She has the feature where incoming calls to her land line need a human to dial a number to get through. But I don't know how that would classify her calls to me as "restricted access phone". Is this something which Shaw can fix or should she contact Telus?

How can I "unblock" her number?

Why is the phone (land-line on Telus? Her employer's? ) that SHE is using being tagged as "restricted" ?

What is your area-code? 250? 778? 236? 672?

What is the area-code of the phone that she is using?

Is a call from her phone to your phone being tagged as a "long-distance" call, e.g., Vancouver to Victoria?

Is her phone configured to NOT allow "long-distance" calls?

Is this something which Shaw can fix or should she contact Telus?

She should start with TELUS.

You cannot. It is some restriction that TELUS has placed on her telephone-number.

Can your friend try to call some telephone-number other than yours, such as a TimHortons outlet in a different province, because that is likely to be a "long-distance" call? Blocked? Allowed?
