I signed up for 2FA. Recently I changed my email, and my password manager didn't register the change. Now I can't log into my email or my shaw since the 2FA access code goes to my shaw email. I need tto get a work arond so I can change my 2FA.

@romanh -- two thoughts:

  1. if you can logon to the My Shaw Portal, you can create up to 10 E-mail IDs. Can you create an E-mail that matched your previous E-mail ID, so that the messages from Shaw can be accessed (via Shaw WebMail?)
  2. Contact Shaw: 1-888-472-2222 or www.shaw.ca/chat to get them to fix it.

I can't, that's the problem. When I try to login, it asks for a 2FA code. That code gets sent to the email I can't access.

I'll try but, it took hours just to contact them on twitter. Apparently a landline takes a long, long time.

@romanh -- When I try to login, it asks for a 2FA code.

In that case, do not "sign in". Instead, access  wwww.shaw.ca/chat

to make a connection to a Shaw Agent, where you can ask for a password-change, or removal of the 2FA option.

Or, via the My Shaw Portal, just create a new My Shaw ID -- you'll get a message that your current My Shaw ID has been deactivated.
