Any plan to carry non-gateway modems?

I currently have the xb6 and although it's a great package, I have a very good Asus router. So I run the xb6 in bridged mode.

The problem is though the xb6 broadcasts hidden wifi signals even in bridged mode. After some extensive digging I found out its part of some wireless platform that Arris uses. These hidden wifi signals are interfering with my own wifi.

So I was wondering if shaw plans on offering non gateway modems such as Arris Touchstone CM8200

The equipment we offer can change from time to time as technology changes, but we're not aware of any plans to introduce any different modems in the near future. When new equipment becomes available, information will be added to shaw.ca as well as the Shaw Community.
