Blue Curve Modem -annoying humming sound

@pilot similar to the post here, there is a fan in the modem that may be the cause of the humming sound.

its a nightmare i hate this modem they have a 2.0 version of it with vents out the top no idea if it also has a fan but it looks to be way better passively 

cooled.

@pilot & @shaw-tony -- I get "access denied" for that archived discussion thread.

But, there is a long discussion thread within this forum, with several contributors voicing the same comment, without any solution.

One nearly Shaw Business customer has a HITRON modem -- not the same one that Shaw Residential customers get -- that has 4 Ethernet ports, supporting up to "Fibre+ Gig" speed, that is silent, because it is air-cooled.
