Bluecurve atrocious modem UI...

I have never witness such terrible firmware in my lifetime.

I get errors about my "inputs" when assigning reserved IP's. You have 3 fields for inputs... 2/3 are static input and then comments...
I can't rename my Roku device name in the app UI and heaven forbid allowing people to use a browser in 2024 because METADATA IS MONEY for your app downloads you can't try doing this like every other router in the world.
I had to manually find and rename a device since the port-forwarding kept applying the wrong IP to the device being selected...
I can't specify my own DNS servers unless I want to configure this on each client device (which is not always possible)

It took me an hour plus to configure 2 static IP's and 2 portforwarding rules where as on any other commercial or consumer grade router it would have taken about 5 minutes or less. I've worked in IT for over 14 years...

Yes, I know I can bridge the modem and use my router. This is what I did in the past but the I was offered a gigabit plan which a modded ea6900 can only do about 600-800mbit with CFE enabled. These new modems have better hardware (6E Wifi) but sadly the firmware is meant for no one to ever touch as a bunch of clowns engineered it. I would be happy with a telnet/ssh session to the device even if people are too cheap to engineer something useful.

If I come across one additional bug or stability issue I'm dumping the service.. While the modems/firmware are being provided by a 3rd party which they have little control over they still have control to utilize alternate solutions within their network.
