@kenming I see you have the same post here. Replying to both is that we do not have the ability to change your IP. In some cases, swapping the modem could change your IP but it may just be a temporary solution as it depends on why your IP may be banned.

Hopefully, there are no two routers, worldwide, that have IDENTICAL MAC-addresses -- that is the whole point about MAC-addresses.

So, a swap WILL give you a different MAC-address, and Shaw's DHCP-server WILL give you a different IP-address.

Note that Shaw's proxy-servers only handle "HTTP" traffic, not "secure-HTTP" traffic. So, if that web-site exclusively uses "secure-HTTP", the IP-address they receive will be your IP-address, not the IP-address of the Shaw proxy-server. Sigh.

Or, if you reconfigure your router to use "Passthrough" for one of your Ethernet ports, and connect your computer to that port, and you get a second IP-address from Shaw, your computer will obtain that second IP-address.  Hopefully, that IP-address will not be "banned".

What error-message do you get? What happens? What does not happen?

Which web-sites?

Have you tried "Passthrough", as I previously suggested?

Have you tried enabling Shaw's proxy-servers, as I previously suggested?

Hi,

It shown on Chrome was "can't be reached". Those websites come from China, such as cn.aliyun.com; www.pospal.cn; etc...

I think my IP has banned by those websites for some reason.

I just control my router through "10.0.0.1", there is nothing I can do.

Thank you.

@kenming swapping your modem should have given you a new IP. Not sure why you wouldn't be able to access those sites as they work fine for me.

For me, the "non-secure" web-site: http://www.pospal.cn "cannot be reached", but the "secure" web-site: https://www.pospal.cn is accessible.  So, as I stated before, configuring to use Shaw's "proxy-server" for this web-site is not a bypass.

> Those websites come from China, such as cn.aliyun.com; www.pospal.cn; etc...

The "non-secure" web-site: http://cn.aliyun.com immediately "redirects" to the "secure" web-site https://cn.aliyun.com

So, again, using Shaw's "proxy-server" will not help, for this web-site.

> I think my IP has banned by those websites for some reason.

I am guessing that the "Great Firewall of China" is blocking all HTTP-traffic (secure or non-secure) from your current IP-address.

> I just control my router through "10.0.0.1", there is nothing I can do.

I previously indicated that the Hitron cable-modem has a "Passthrough" capability, to give you a second IP-address, which, hopefully, is not blocked.

Which router do you have? Hitron? Shaw Gateway? Shaw BlueCurve? Shaw BlueCurve Total?

Or, you could use VPN to expose a different IP-address to those web-sites.
