Can we renew the Value Plan after it expires in 24 months?

Hi, i read this part in the 2 value plan FAQ

What happens at the end of a 2-year ValuePlan?

After the 24-month period, customers can renew the ValuePlan at the current in-market rate and enjoy the same benefits of a ValuePlan for another 2 years. Customers can also choose to not re-sign for two years and pay regular month-to-month rates.

It also says this is the market offer now for the 2 year value plan

We were on the Internet 150 2 year value plan, and our value plan is expiring in March and i was wondering if we're able to renew the value plan at the same rate we're paying now and if we can get this value plan shaw is offering or Internet 600 2 year value plan?

Hi mahram 

If you choose to renew the plan it would be at the current rates, not the original. A lot of things can change between now and March so it's hard to say what those offers will be, but your best bet would be to get in touch with customer support directly and they can go over your options in more detail. Thanks!

thanks for the response tamara, can we contact customer support to renew it now or do we have to wait until march?

and you mentioned it would be at the current rates but the offers right now are for shaw 300 and shaw 600, would we be able to renew the contract under one of the new offerings since the shaw 150 plan has been discontinued?

The Internet 150 package has been changed to Internet 300, so if you subscribe to Internet 150 currently you should be seeing those speeds without having to upgrade (as long as you're in one of the areas where Internet 300 is available). It is possible to renew your Value Plan early if you want to upgrade to 600 - this would just involve re-signing a new agreement for 24 months.
