Cannot block youtube with Bluecurve

My kids do school from home twice a week but the allure of YouTube is too strong, too distracting.

I want to block YouTube for a set time each day, I've been able to block other sites for certain periods just fine, but youtube, for some reason is not blockable.

Under

Parental Control > Managed Sites

I have

20	http://youtube.com	00:15 - 19:30, Mon,Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri,Sat,Sun	Edit
21	http://youtu.be	00:15 - 19:00, Mon,Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri,Sat,Sun

I've restarted the gateway, many times, I actually set these entries up years ago and it has never worked.  Other entries use http instead of https and block fine.

Is this something special about youtube?

@jdlwright -- have you tried blocking by IP-address:

-> youtu.be
internet address = 142.250.217.78

> youtube.com.
QUESTIONS:
youtube.com, type = A, class = IN
ANSWERS:
-> youtube.com
internet address = 142.251.215.238

Are you also blocking "https://youtube.com" and "https://youtu.be" ?

Notice the "s" after "http".

However it didn't work, I added with the IP (and also tried https://[2607:f8b0:400a:805::200e] but it won't accept that).

I tried with https as well.

No luck.
