Cisco DPC3825 in Bridge Mode

Not applicable

I have my modem up and running in bridge mode, no problems.

BUT, can I still connect devices via ethernet cable directly to my Shaw Cisco DPC3825 modem when it's in bridge mode?

I got the network up and running but when I connected a couple of devices to the shaw modem everything tanked on me, so now I'm wondering if the only thing that can be connected to the shaw modem is the second wireless modem and everything has to go thru that, be it wired or wireless.

Hey cramar2112,

A secondary IP would be required if you want to hook up another router. As for the other ports, they would only be active if a 3/4th IP is added. The secondary IP is free and each additional are $9.95/mo + taxes. You will need to contact us in order to enable it.

Cheers,
