The usual comment from Shaw/Rogers is "we support our supported equipment", meaning that if you want to use CPE (Customer Provided Equipment), then they cannot help, implying that you need to hire a networking consultant to connect/configure any CPE that is not "self-configuring" out-of-the-box, e.g., IPv4/IPv6 settings.
