Good day
Ran into this all day today. Tried two browsers. Can not add attachment to email.
Thanks
A client error occurred - please try again
@cmak111 hmm, that is certainly odd. It may be old cache that is causing issues. Can you try using incognito to see if it gives the same error? Can you also try attaching different files to see if those work?

I am assuming that you are using Shaw WebMail.
Move the mouse-pointer to the left-edge of that window, to point at the "Inbox" name. Let the mouse "hover" at that location, until you see "666 messages occupying 777 megabytes", or something like it.
Move the mouse-pointer to the "Sent" name, and "hover" again.
Move the mouse-pointer to the "Trash" name, and "hover" again.
Are the total megabytes approaching Shaw's limit -- namely 1000 megabytes?
If so, "empty" the "Trash" folder. Delete some large messages from your "Sent" folder. Again, empty the "Trash" folder. Now, try again to attach-and-send.
I have this issue on webmail when I haven't been on top of keeping the size down. Once you get above 70% used the attachments don't attach.

That has NOT been my experience. For me, even above 90%, I can add attachments.
Just remember that a copy of the E-mail, including the attachment is saved into the "Sent" folder.
Hint: open that item in the "Sent" folder, remove the attachment, and close that item. This decreases the percentage-used.
You just need to remember that you sent the message with the attachment, if you ever re-open this copy of what you sent.
I have the same problem but only when I try to attach a word document. It doesn't matter if the document has only one word, so it is not the size. No problem at all with PDF or images; the problem is only with Word documents 😞
Hi. I tried different browsers and the problem continued, but as I said only with Word documents. Then I tried switching from Standard (HTML) to Advanced (Ajax), and now everything is working fine!!
Thanks for contact me back.
