Can someone explain to me why Shaw has disabled IPv6 on the 2250? According to the manufacturer, the modem has full dual stack support for IPv4/IPv6 routing (reference link below), and I want to understand why i am being told i have to get a different modem to be able to use IPv6 when the one I have supports it. If I get Shaw to switch my modem into bridged mode will it support IPv6 passthrough?
The CGNM-2250 supports full IPv4 routing features, as well as, full support for IPv6 routing and firewall. The CGNM-2250 supports both DSLite as well as 6RD for different IPv6 deployment and transition strategies."
