I tried to get my modem exchanged today, but the support agent said that they don't replace them unless there is a complete hardware failure.
As far as issues go, it seems to be performance related as well as a frequent complete lack of connection. The light on the modem just blinks green and doesn't pass traffic unless I power cycle the modem.
