I left Shaw two months ago for many negative experiences in a row. I was already on month to month by this point.
The next month, I got charged on my account even though I had cleared all bills and hadn’t overlapped into a new month for internet use. To their credit, I got a message saying, “you have been charged but we will refund you.”
Today, i got charged for another month and to date I have had NO refund on my first overcharge.
This has apparently happened to my other friends who left Shaw, implying the company preys on people not checking. This is unethical and illegal.
Shaw you owe me $163, one dollar too many. What are you going to do to ensure I get my money back and cancel future charges?
