Internet continuously going on and off

Over the past week, my internet, both wired and wireless, shuts off for minutes at a time then comes back on.  This happens many times throughout the day.  My devices show that wifi is still on, but there is absolutely no connectivity. And it’s not only the wifi.  I’ll be on my PS4 wired to the router, and the connectivity will also be dropped.  I’ve spoken with 4 Shaw agents about this issue, been through all their tests and resets, and nothing is fixed.  Aside from this problem, it seems that connection speeds have fallen drastically. I used to get 100-150 download speeds consistently, now I struggle to get 45-50. What am I suppose to do?

Contact Shaw (online chat or telephone) and get them to remotely logon to your cable-modem, for them to view the signal-strength and other measurements. Bad signal-strength will lead to your symptoms. After all, each Shaw customer is paying literally thousands of dollars per year to get "support" -- contact them, to make them earn your money.
