I actually have the same problem. How did it work out for you? I am thinking about canceling the service. But I am not sure whether there is a penalty in this situation.
@jim1111111111 what speeds are you getting on a direct ethernet connection to a PC on https://speedtest.shaw.ca? Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?
my hardwired connection is fine getting over 300mbs on my 300 package but my wifi I am lucky if I hit 20. today I checked it and got a whopping .1

What is the speed of your computer's CPU ("Central Processing Unit") ?
I have observed that computers with a dual-core CPU that is slower than 2.0 Ghz cannot run the Shaw SpeedTest at its full speed, resulting in lower reported speeds.
My results (Hitron router, CAT-5e cable, paying for "Internet 300", quad-core Intel i5 at 3.2 Ghz) are "perfect".
