Lost two emails now, passwords stop working, why?

I have created two emails @shaw.ca and both emails stopped working after a couple of days. What happens is, the passwords eventually stop working. No reason, no explanation. Then, Shaw won't let me reset the password. Instead, I get a HTTPS Error 400 "Problem accessing /service/preauth. Reason: account is not active."

Is Shaw ever going to give me even one email where I won't have this problem?
