One additional point, I have set up the Outlook account on the Exchange Server account type.
Nonetheless, the Sent Items does not clear which is my desire, whereas the Deleted Items does after Shaw's standard 30 day hold of deleted items on its server. In Shaw Webmail settings a change at some point in the settings options has somehow eliminated the retention of Deleted Items in the client Outlook mailbox. I understand why Shaw does not want to infinitely retain the Deleted Items on its servers. Fine. But why reach into my Outlook mailbox and wipe them? It did not historically do this. In contrast, the Sent Items are retained in my Outlook. <<shrug>>
Interested in any insight you might have.
Slight clarification, I have my Outlook desktop client set up as an Exchange ActiveSync account.
