I am having the exact same issue setting up port forwarding.

I really don't want to do a reset and set it all up again.

Is there another way.

All I need is manual edit of the IP within the forwarding dialog or something to allow the assigned IP to stick.

Me too I am having the same Issue!! So frustrating and time consuming. I have already gone through a factory reset once! now its happening again. I reserved a port address and the router always assigns a port address on digit over. example. 10.0.0.60 and it assigns 10.0.0.59 or 10.0.0.61

Thanks for sharing.im having the same issue with the port forwarding piece. The BlueCurve modem that I got seem to came with a higher firmware version. 

What version are you using? Did the router upgrade to the newer version after a while and did this issue arise again?
