Shaw says they can subtract the amount for the day when there is no internet.
That do not work during this covid period when most people work from home and study.
I suggested to shaw that why not provide UNLIMITED data on SHAW MOBILE during SHAW OUTAGE to cover people.
This way most people can enroll into shaw mobile.
Shaw always can say that "YOU ARE COVERED ALL TIME".
People at present lose big money if whole day lost on Outage. This already happen twice in last 15 days.
Also it helps more people move from telus to shaw.

How are you measuring the current "load-balancing" that you claim is in effect?
Do you have a specific suggestion on how the Shaw Network Engineers should do "load-balancing", such as adding another concentrator-box somewhere in your neighbourhood (where do you live?) and moving half of its customers connected to that box onto the new box?
I really have no clue. I am not those cable technicians. They were talking about something 42amps. Not sure what that is.
Also i heard Vandalism happened on same place twice in two weeks and that shuts down internet for whole surrey langley and willowbrook for whole day.
That is not good. Why shuts down whole area to fix one spot. I dont know the detail of the damage though.
It seems outage may happen if someone doing repeat vandalism.
