what the heck is it doing?

Hi Kids,

I'm a tad grumpy right now ........

I'll want to send out an email (go figure) I'll address it to about 5 to 7 people and their email addresses, I send it - it goes.  All is good!

The rub is, if I try to send it out again as a forward to get around the 10 address limit - I forward the message to another 5-7 people, it craps out and I get:

Task 've6ded@shaw.ca - Sending'  reported error (0x800CCC778):'Cannot send the message.  Verify the emila ddress in your account properties. The server responded: 451 <ve6ded@shaw.ca>  server temporarily unavailable.  AUF#MXRT

This has been going on for years - I'm in Outlook so I don't try to send a copy of that email to more than 10 addresses at once , to keep outlook happy, I try to keep it at around 5-7 addresses.  Always the first message goes but after I open that sent copy to forward it to the next batch of 5-7 people THAT error shows up and it does for the next few copies I send as well.

So my  Outbox fill up with the unsent messages and I have to wait for 5 to 30 mins for it to clear and send them.  Any guesses as to why?

It's just bulk messages going to members of our SAR group so all the members email addresses are all over the place it's not it they're going to one common server.

Cheers'
Dave

@davecason wrote AUF#MXRT (or was it AUP#MXRT ?

This could be code for "A(ppropriate) U(sage) P(olicy) (#) M(a)X(imum) number of) R(ecipien)T(s has been exceeded".

Ask Support if they will increase the maximum number of recipients to a larger number, e.g., 50, IDs in your SAR group?
