I just got the Blue Curve TV and gateway Modem after years with the old PVR cables boxes.   Modem was a breeze to set up - however I can not say the same for the Xi6.  

In my set up I have everything hooked up to my Denon S490H receiver and its HDMI out ( with ARC) to my TV's HDMI ( ARC) IN.   I have a 55 inch LG 4k TV that's a couple years old. 

I unhooked the HDMI from my old cable box and used that to hook up the new Xi6.    After going thru the set up - the picture worked great, however the sound was horrible. 

I run a 5.1 system and I was getting most sound through my center channel and very faint from other speakers.  No sound from Subwoofer at all.   I checked the settings and changed it to uh Expert and not Stereo.  Nothing changed at all.  The sound is weak and very disappointing.  

Everything was fine and working well the day before everything was changed. 

What makes me even more confused, is the sound is screwed up for my PS$, the TV itself ( when using it for Netflix), and even the radio and all other music.   Majority of sound only through center channel - no subwoofer.

Also the 2nd Xi6 box is in another room is hooked up to a TV and the TV to a sound bar.  Again the sound is weak and its sub doesn't work either now.

Anyone have any ideas to what is going on ?   I have a tough time believing the Xi6 fried my system... but this is odd
