Adding apps to Blue Curve system

I would love to get Acorn tv app since BBC isn’t on Shaw now. Right now if I want to subscribe to Acorn you have to join Prime TV then join Acorn so it adds up in cost. Could watch Acorn on Internet with a subscription but would rather watch on my main TV system. Anyone else?

Is your main tv a smart TV?  Could you cast from the app on your mobile device to your TV?

Yes my main TV is one of the early smart TVs (10 years plus) but I’m guessing the answer would be no. Have to investigate casting but would you not have to use the Blue Curve system instead of tv itself? There is nothing about how to cast in TV systems book.

Check the Samsung TV store. You may find you can download the Acorn app right to the TV.
