@Hater8 -- they force you to go through extreme wait times to DOWNGRADE / REMOVE channels from your OWN package
Did you rRead the "fine print" when you signed-up for a Two Year Value Plan, because "downgrades" are possible, but there are limitations as to how far you can downgrade, during the term of the contract. So, I presume that a Shaw Agent must get involved, to avoid any attempt to downgrade below the minimum level in the contract.
This would only apply to someone who has Shaw Internet there is no value plans with satellite. Just scams

Another recent post on this discussion forum mentioned the discontinued "FGAF" (Friend Get A Friend) to subscribe program.
The Shaw Direct "fine print" does mention something similar:
Customer must sign up for a minimum of 60 days to qualify for Refer a Friend program.
Friends and Family are eligible.
The web-site also mentions that you can connect Shaw's HDPVR to WiFi, to get access to a library of movies.

Adding channels is easy online or with the app. The question is about removing channels.
You can remove certain add on channels, like Crave etc. The problem I am having is the My Shaw app doesn’t take the 2 step verification code, I have to use the My Shaw web app. iPadOS.
It is simply a sales ploy. They want to browbeat you into swapping or changing your plan, extending contracts when changing etc. family members worked for shaw.
