I have the same problem and I am recording the news on CTV, the recording keeps jumping missing pieces of the news, very annoying.

It was ok for a few weeks, but now it's back. CTV channel especially, recordings are unwatchable. It seems worst in early evening. To me it looks like maybe overloaded Cloud servers.

I did get a month's credit, but the issues are not cleare...

I did get a month's credit, but the issues are not cleared up yet. I have gone the CRTC route to make a complaint and it was accepted. I'm not sure what changes about the outcome except for the fact that I  am getting a lot of calls and attention from Shaw, although the issues persist.

Sheesh, Grasshopper!You wrote this on Oct. 9, 2021, and I'm writing this on May 27, 2022, and I have had nothing but grief with the skipping on pvr recordings for over a year, and it's still going on.  I've talked to the tech people, who try to be helpul, but the only advice they gave me was to change the batteries in my remote, which I've done, and that's obviously not the problem!
