BlueCurve TV Player (Xi6) connected via Ethernet (not wireless) to gateway portal

Hello,

I am about to order a BlueCurve gateway with two BlueCurve TV Players (Xi6). Sales was very friendly but I need to confirm some details:

Like to put the gateway in bridge mode and use my existing router to connect to the Xi6 players via ethernet. I can see from documentation that ethernet portal is active (optional) on players. Anyone tried this configuration and are there issues to keep in mind or is this unsupported?

I am currently running that very same setup. I have two BluCurve TV players wired via Ethernet to the modem in bridged mode. Absolutely no issues and nice not to have to deal with sometimes flaky  wireless internet.
