BlueSky Sleep Mode - How to Turn OFF?

I recently upgraded to BlueSky/BlueCurve service.

For the most part, positive... however...

My TV Box keeps going into Sleep Mode.

I have found the setting where I can prolong the awake period, but how do I turn it off permanently?

I hate it!

It always seems to happen right when something important is on and I miss about a minute while I get it turned back on.

PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

You want BlueCurve to stay in sleep mode longer? Just don’t use it I guess.

Is it reacting to your TV going into "sleep mode", and then turning itself into the same mode?

What type & model of TV do you have?  Is there anything about the timing of "sleep mode" within its own "setup" menu?

• Prolong the amount of time that it stays in "sleep mode"
• prolong the amount of time before it enters "sleep mode"

My experience with Sleep Mode is that once activated, it stays in Sleep Mode until you push a button on the remote to wake it up - no need to prolong it.

Please add a NEVER SLEEP option to the menu.

1- During the day, I have the TV on a news channel when I'm not actively watching it. I listen for things that interest me, then I turn to watch the story. Often it will go into Sleep Mode and I don't notice it until I start to wonder why it is so quiet in the room.

2- I sleep with the TV on and when it kicks into Sleep Mode, it wakes me up.

I have never before had a forced Sleep Mode in any of my TV Cable Boxes - I don't understand why this one has it.

Please, please, please fix it!

Settings> device settings>power prefs> power saver> on and off>. It is fixed to 4 hours. You can force sleep as well. There is a similar setting for your TV.

Yes, I'm aware of that.

However, there is no option to turn off Sleep Mode.

What I want to do is turn it off so that it NEVER GOES TO SLEEP.

Right now, it goes into Sleep Mode, about every 4 hours while I'm watching it.

It is truly stupid that whoever programmed the Blue Curve Cable Box did not allow the option to NEVER SLEEP.

Just checked my Cable Box...

Sleep Mode is actually a max of 5 hours between sleeps, not 4.

But it still sucks.
